Remembering our Heroes / Somethings we forgot to Remember

'Remembering our Heroes' is an exhibition of eight panels giving an overview of some of the First World War heroes from Swansea and Neath Port Talbot who displayed exceptional bravery and were honored in return with medals. It includes case studies of particular soldiers, with panels entitled proud to serve; Lance Corporal William Fuller VC; Chief Petty Officer George Prowse VC DCM; 2nd Lieut Rupert Price Hallowes VC MC; Captain John Stanley Strange DSO MC; Captain H W Godfrey Jones MC; and John Oliver Watkins CdeG.

‘Some Things we forgot to Remember’ an exhibition of seven panels takes a different, somewhat anti-heroic, look at the First World War, from the perspective of women war workers, conscientious objectors, soldiers from other parts of the British Empire, Belgian refugees, war widows and subject peoples, in this case the Kurds, who did not have a voice at the peace conference.
